Personalized Christmas Presents

Last year Norwegians spent almost 1.5 billions in total on Christmas presents. Lots of these were probably things that we didn't really need or presents bought in desperation or to make up for guilty conscience.

However, sometimes the most appreciated gifts are those you make yourself. It doesn't have to be that complicated, nor very expensive. All required is some imagination and time.

A great idea is to make gifts that can be eaten, like muesli, as shown in the picture, home made chocolate or jam.

Another gift that most certain will be appreciated is a personalized CD. Collect music that you know the receiver will like, burn them on a CD, and create a suitable cover picture.

I absolutely agree. I love making gifts and it's often less expensive or no more than what you would pay to buy an item. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to make *everything* but I try.

Same with me, but it's fun to see how much people appreciate gifts that are made special for them - even if they don't cost a lot of money.
