Every year I buy at least one new Christmas ball for my "tree". This year's addition to my collection is a Champagne coloured beaty from Milla Boutique.

 



My window decoration from IKEA brightens up the dark nights.



This was taken last weekend. In the meantime most of it is gone with the rain. That's how it is in Oslo! Let's only hope Santa will bring us some feeling in time for Christmas.

Wearing my Christmas gift

Every year I purchase a Christmas gift to myself. It might sound a bit selfish, but it's a good enough reason to buy me something that I really want! This year, my personal Santa brought me this lovely floral wool scarf by Zara.
Because I'm worth it, right?!
It's worth mention that I got lots of nice presents from the real Santa, as well! I'll show you more in a while.

The beautiful bracelet is a Christmas present from my dear boyfriend. It's really decorative with swarovski crystal beads and a chunky silver plated chain. Love it already!

Personalized Christmas Presents

Last year Norwegians spent almost 1.5 billions in total on Christmas presents. Lots of these were probably things that we didn't really need or presents bought in desperation or to make up for guilty conscience.

However, sometimes the most appreciated gifts are those you make yourself. It doesn't have to be that complicated, nor very expensive. All required is some imagination and time.

A great idea is to make gifts that can be eaten, like muesli, as shown in the picture, home made chocolate or jam.

When I returned from my weekend in Paris, I was greeted by this pleasant surprise. My sister had sent me her own composed Christmas CD crammed full of personally selected Christmas tunes dedicated to me:)

Putting on the CD, I was inspired to decorate my apartment for the holiday. After unpacking my suit case I hoovered and washed all floors, dusted all surfaces, and cleaned the bathroom. Then I replaced the girly pink decor with a dash of red and gold accessories and a few hyacinths, my favourite flower for December.

Puh! It took a while, but now I'm ready for Christmas Bliss:)
