More Flea Market Shopping...

After searching several markets, I was happy to find this cute bedside table at the flea market held at Bjølsen skole. It reminded me of the kind of furniture you'd find in a doll house - feminine and ladylike:) I'll considering replacing the handles with some more stylish ones, though.

After the mandatory turtleneck years as a little girl, I never thought I'd welcome it to closet again. But as with most things in life, never say never!

In fact, the turtleneck is perfect to extend the life of your summer tops. Just add the turtle and voilà! An entire new look.

Do it Yourself: Jam!

An apple a day, keeps the doctor away - so how about some home made apple jam? Apples seems to be everywhere these days. If you don't own your own garden of apple trees, maybe your grandparents do? Anyway, when the apples are in house, this delicious jam is very easy to make. And the money you save from not buying the expensive ecological version at the grocery's, can better be spent on some real fashion items:)

Here's my not-so-secret recipe:

1 kg apples

280 g sugar

cinnamon (I use the sticks and grate them myself)

Cook the apples for about ten minutes, add sugar and heat up. Add cinnamon and pour the jam onto clean, warm glasses. Enjoy!

Flea market Shopping!

Fall equals flea market season, which is great for treasure hunting. At a flea market in Moss todayI bought this fur hat, an animal printed purse and some sunglasses. Alltogehter I payed as little as 40 NOK. The hat, in particular, was a real scoop and will be worn a lot this winter:)

It's my lucky Monday!

I couldn't believe my luck when I received an e-mail from Costume pronouncing me the lucky winner of a "goodiebag from NO7".

Today, my parcel arrived at the postoffice - in a very big package revealing what must be the entire range of NO7's products. Lots of cleansers, face masks, make-up and so on. The contest was really easy, though. I just answered a few questions in a survey on Costume's hompage, and voilà!

I found my perfect bag!

After spending the entire summer surfing the net for desirable handbags, I finally found my perfect tote at MA in Bogstadveien.

This oversized Miu Miu had such a magnetic attraction to me, that I desided to blow all my birthday money on it (Thank you, Grandma, Grandpa, Mom and Dad:)).

The nappa leather feels like silk, and the detachable strap makes it practical too. Finally I bag I can carry all I need - in style. Love it!!
