Neck Candy by Louis Vuitton

Outfit details: Scarf: Louis Vuitton. Wool blazer: Commes des Garcons for H&M. t-shirt: Forever21 (new).  Jeans: GinaTricot. Ankle boots gardenia. Bracelet: Tokyo jane.
I already told you about my shopping at Louis Vuitton in London. Although I'm a sucker for handbags, the box contained something else. A scarf! I've been dreaming about this, to me, stunning cashmere Stephen Sprouse leopard scarf for a long time. Can't believe I'm finally owning it, but sometimes you just gotta take the plunge, right?!  It's a classic piece that really adds a touch of luxury to any outfit. And more importantly, it keeps me warm - and happy:-D

Apparently I'm not the only fan!

While browsing more images of the scarf I came across this cute scarf tutorial. In just 4.5 minutes it cleverly demonstrates 25 ways of wearing a scarf! My favorite? "The Celebrity" at 1:54. This video has more than nine million views, so perhaps you've already watched it? In any case, it's worth repeating.

Staight from Topshop - Ankle Boots

I simply love my new ankle boots that I brought home from London. The nubuck quality, cut and color make them suitable for all seasons, summer included. Can’t wait to wear them with cut-off jeans and a white shirt… ♥

Happiness in a Brown Box

I've been to London and made my premiere purchase at Louis Vuitton. Something I've been craving for a very long time has finally come home with me. Happiness can indeed be found in a brown box!

The Festive Month of The Year

Hello sweeties! I'm not dead, just behind blogging schedule.  Please forgive me! Anyway, December is the festive month of the year with lots of opportunities to put on the fancy dress. Here's a start:

Outfit details:
Dress and shoes: Lanvin for H&M. Necklace: Vercace for H&M. Tights: Lindex (I think...)

Last week I came across a wonderful sample sale with clothes and scarfs from Wildfox and Autumn Cashmere. I wasn't really planning on buying anything, but then I spotted this:

Comfy sweater in rabbit hair blend(!) by Wildfox. Love it!

Double ended Arrow Brooch

Today I had a pleasant surprise waiting for me in my mailbox. The double ended arrow brooch that I clicked home from ASOS' mid season sale was just as adorable as I excepted it to be. I plan to wear this on my cardigans and blouses for a pulled-together look with a twist:)

I Got a Little Something...

Do you guess what this is?
New sweater!

I stopped by H&M today and couldn't believe my luck when I found this lovely oversized sweater with real leather sleeves (or maybe I should call it a poncho?). It is made of 90 percent wool and 10 percent alpaca, a mix of fabric you don't usually expect from H&M. Unfortunately this medium size item was the only left of the style. I normally take XS/S, but considering the loose fit I hope to get away with baggy. Or what do you guys think?
My second purchase is a dress in reptile:)  I'll show you more of this later on. For sure, it will be a fun item to dress up and down.

My Pick from the Whitney Port by BIK BOK Collection

Even though I have always been a fan of the style of Whitney Port, I wasn't head over heels for her Bik Bok collection. Sad to say, I had expected more. More glam, more Whitney, less Bik Bok (don't get me wrong. I do like Bik Bok, but when one hire a guest designer it is usually to jazz up the basic collection, right?). Oh well. Anyway, one piece that I really adored, and that I ended up buying, is this soft cosy mohair sweater.
This will be my winter chillout favorite!

Delivery!

I have decided to take action against hair damage! Hopefully these helpers will prevent my hair from breakage and thermal wear, fight the fade, reduce split ends and boost volume and shine. Optimistic?!

I will let you know in a while how the progress go. I bought everything from Lookfantastic. They have a great sale going on these days, so check it out!

New in: G-Star Raw Chinos

I went Saturday shopping with my hubby and ended up with a new pair of pants! What do you think? The silhouette is a bit different from what I am used to, but they are indeed very comfortable.

Super Saturday

Outfit details: Leather jacket: All Saints. Scarf: Mulberry. Sleeve: Bik Bok. Skirt: Forever21. Handbag: Balenciaga. Necklace: Vintage. Shoes: Converse.

No day is better than a sunny Saturday, escpecislly when it kicks off with a visit to the hairdresser's! Now my roots finally match the rest of my hair. Bliss!
By the way: How do you like my new skirt? I found it at H&M and was immediately amazed by its dashing colors. I also bought a really cool metallic sweather that I will show you later.

Histoires de Parfums

Look what Mr. Postman brought me today! Can't wait to tear open the envelope...

VoilĂ ! On my recent trip to Paris I smelled this heavenly scent: 1804 by Histoires de Parfums. This was, however, after I had gone "somewhat bananas" at Balenciaga, so 130 euros for a bottle of the oh so sweet perfume was totally out of the question.

Well home I searched it up, though. And to my luck, samples were available at the official website of Histoires de Parfums - at just 10 euros for a set of six, shipping included! These are perfect to bring along in my purse, making sure I will always smell as glorious as Paris:)
The fragrance 1804, my favorite, is described as follows: For the George Sand's heiresses, a perfume reflecting her generosity and sensuality. An amber flower bouquet, warmed with heady spices and colored by sweet fruits.
Originality: Hawaiian, spicy pineapple.
Moods: sensual, cocoon, fruity perfume, well-defined, sensual.

Conscious shopping vs. my own consciousness

Sustainable fashion. Yay or nay?
Today H&M launched its eco-friendly collection. Light textures, lace and dazzling silhouettes made Summer-craving Oslo girls go head over heals. At least a major part of the collection quickly sold out already on the premiere day.
I was not an exception. A one-shoulder dress in recycled polyester blend, a really comfortable powder colored dress, a lace top and a pair of cotton shorts all made its way home with me. Hm... and I was supposed to save money? I am afraid something has to be returned - to please my own consciousness. But which of them? Did you get anything?

All you need is...

H&M! At least it is a great store for testing out new styles and fits. Just remember to schedule your visits on weekdays to avoid crowds and fitting room lines...
I completely fell in love with these caramel coloured shorts. I styled them with a jeans shirt and a lace blazer with cute details for a fresh yet feminine look.

Finger candy by YSL

My hand looks a bit wierd at this angle, but the view is good, though.
This beautiful cocktail ring by YSL has been om my wish list for a long time. And when I found it at LaFayette, I could finally put it on my finger. I considered buyingt from Net-a-Porter, but  I got a way better deal here. Also, I got the tax refunded. I think I will have to wear this every day!

New Shoes!

Spent two hours at the shoes' floor at Lafayette today. Ended up with this pair of buckled wedges from Surface to Air - at 50 percent off. These will be perfect for Spring or now with knee high stockings and a belted boyfriend shirt. I love shopping in Paris!

New Shoes

My new shoes arrived yesterday - they are adorable! Black patent leather with a cute bow and killer silver heels. Just give me a dance floor and I will own it!
And yeah.. they are Lanvin for H&M.

The Fashion Economist loves Lanvin loves H&M

Can't help but love the designer collaborations at H&M. It may be an old concept, but it still works for me! Felt like a crazy shopaholic on the bus with the grandest shopping bags of all (yes, I queued up well before breakfast...). Okay, maybe I am, but I made a good deal, though!:)
Les sacs grands! Love the exclusive feel of the bags, the hangers and the  garment bags.
Never to old to be a princess...

Fit for the festive season?

This skirt may be the most wearable garment of all. The fabric feels very solid. Love it already!

Hm... so what do you think? Keep everything or just some? Definitively need to attend more red carpet events (or arrange my own) to justify my splurge!

Today's Outfit: Heart

Headpiece from Cubus

Outfit details:
Heart blouse: H&M (Divided). Jeans shorts: Cubus.

I'm not always as rational as I should be. Like today I was just sneaking into H&M before my spinning session. I browsed through the store, enjoying the calm weekday ambience... and then time passed by and I suddenly it was way too late to make the class. So instead of working out, I went shopping! This cute heart blouse, pink head piece and ripped jeans shorts all got to join me home.

There is always tomorrow, right?

Kask + WWF and Fretex!

Love my new beanie from Kask. It is made from 100 percent organic cotton, and €1 goes directly to WWF. My cardigan is also new, at least for me. I got it from Fretex ( the salvation army) in Lillehammer, it is hand knitted, second hand, and keeps me warm. Two bargains and environment friendly shopping:)

Nice Price

The catch of the day from IC Companys' outlet sale.

Two pairs of Tiger jeans for just 49,-  each. That is what I call nice price. Love bargains like this!
